Up to this point in my self-education in golf, I have only read golf instruction books that were printed, that I could hold in my hands. However, every golfer who has looked on the web for help with their swing or some particular part of their game such as driving, chipping or putting has come across these digital "books". I have yet to take the plunge and purchase one of these golf instruction ebooks simply because I like to have a bound book that I can read anywhere, not just in my office chair in front of the computer. Also, the weight of a "real" book gives it an artificial feeling of value regardless of the usefulness of its content. The advantage of these ebooks as I see it is that most have some sort of 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. When was the last time you bought a book at Barnes and Noble or from Amazon and thought the content was not worth the paper is was written on and were able to take it back for a full refund? The authors of these golf instruction ebooks seem to have an enormous amount of confidence in what they are teaching or else a lot of courage to offer "100% ironclad money back" guarantees. Here are some ebooks about the physical techniques related to golf that I have considered at one time or another:
And then those that deal more with the mental side of golf:
Most of these books or programs actually cost a bit more than I've paid for books at Amazon lately, but then again you've got the additional cushion of a money back guarantee. If you have any experience with these online golf training programs, leave a comment and tell me how it was. |
